Take action now!
Black Pine Animal Sanctuary has endorsed H.R. 1998 and S. 1381 and we hope you will support them, too! These companion bills are working through the legislative process and propose to end the legal practice of keeping dangerous wild cats, "big cats", by private back-yard owners, roadside unaccredited zoos, for exploitation, for commercial gain, and other such reasons. We urge you to support this bill so that a day will come when your hard-earned dollars can be used to help preserve and expand native habitats and grow wild populations of genetically viable wild cats. You can contact your legislators and ask them to co-sponsor these bills now by using PopVox. Follow the links below individually to speak out on both versions of the bill. Thank you for your support!
